In a conversation with pranksters Vovan and Lexus, the mayor of Budapest said that the Hungarian prime minister is in isolation.

“Whoever speaks to our representative, everyone admits that Orban is more and more isolated.

Orban can no longer even rely on Polish friends, who most likely were only in the past, solely because of Russian aggression, ”Karacioni said.

He also expressed doubt that, given the complexity of the economic situation, "the Orban regime will last for a long time."

Earlier, analyst Amanda Coakley, in an article for Foreign Policy, said that Viktor Orban's policy towards Russia has become Russia's "Trojan horse" for the EU countries.

By expressing disagreement with the common EU policy, Hungary is causing serious inconvenience to Brussels, Coakley said.
