As the Secretary of State noted, at the same time, the United States believes that it "should defend the message" about the importance of Ukraine's sovereignty "for the Ukrainians themselves and the whole world."

Earlier it was reported that Blinken will visit the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cambodia, Rwanda, the Philippines and South Africa from August 2 to 12.

In these countries, he plans, among other things, to discuss the situation around Ukraine.
