This Sunday, a landslide in the Canigou massif (Pyrénées-Orientales) caused a serious injury.
The prefecture explains that the man was transported to the Perpignan hospital center in "absolute urgency", reports the

"A very big landslide" took place at the end of the race, where only 20 riders remained out of the 750 entered, explain the organizers of the "Canigou Championship".
The accident took place at 11:40 a.m., 20 minutes before the closing of the peak at 2,785 m.
The organizers point out that “the helicopter intervened within half an hour”.
The latter claimed to have "purged" the path taken by the runners by removing the unstable stones.
The Pyrénées-Orientales prefecture indicated that an "investigation is underway".
