The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees between Russia and the DPR

“The draft of such an agreement has already been agreed with the Russian Foreign Ministry and has been preliminary worked out with the Donetsk side,” the report says.

It is noted that the automatic recognition of Donetsk academic degrees and titles will increase the mobility of scientific personnel between Russia and the DPR.

The Ministry of Education and Science is also developing a draft similar agreement with the Luhansk People's Republic.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, said that more than 1,100 schools would open in Donbass in the new academic year.
