According to Robert Brandt, the strained personnel situation means that the businesses must take priority.

- We have the resources to be able to take care of the most important thing, i.e. life and health.

However, matters that are not urgent must wait.

- What brightens life are the social activities and they are suffering now just as they were before during the pandemic, he says.

Problematic to staff

Robert Brandt cannot describe the exact staffing needs, but the extent of sick leave is so serious that it may become problematic to staff certain units.

- An example is a special accommodation where one morning there would be seven staff, and that morning one showed up and the other six were sick.

And it is clear that it will be very difficult for our managers and employees.

According to him, however, the staff has so far managed to resolve the tough situations that have arisen.

- They do a fantastic job, says Robert Brandt.

Residents also fall ill

Even among the users there is the spread of infection, but according to Robert Brandt, the staff have a habit of taking care of those who fall ill.

- We also don't see that you get as sick as frail citizens today compared to how it was in 2020.

In the video above, Robert Brandt tells more about how this affects the residents.
