SVT has previously reported that train traffic in Uppsala has suffered from canceled departures and delays, something that now also applies to bus traffic - which is still operated by Uppsala Lokaltrafik, UL.

In several places in the county, travelers have been left standing at bus stops without the bus arriving, and without information about a canceled departure appearing in UL's app.

- Sometimes it says that the bus is canceled just a few minutes before departure, and sometimes that information doesn't come until twenty minutes after the bus is supposed to have left, says Anna Karlsson, who commutes to and from work every day.

According to UL, there is a simple explanation for the lack of information, linked to their subcontractors Kelios and Gamla Uppsala Buss.

- They are responsible for reporting delays and canceled departures in the app, but there they have failed in their work this summer, says Maria Hasselgren, press manager at UL.

If you happen to have a departure canceled or severely delayed, you have the option of applying for compensation via UL, which then needs to be done within two months of the event taking place.
