The large-scale military exercises conducted by the Chinese military around Taiwan in response to the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan ended on the 7th.

Officials in the Chinese military have suggested that they have examined how to move if they decide to unify by force in this exercise, and it is expected that the pressure on Taiwan will continue to increase in the future.

The Chinese military announced that from the 4th of this month, it will conduct large-scale exercises in a total of 6 sea areas and air areas surrounding Taiwan, and ended the 4-day schedule on the 7th.

The Eastern Theater Command, which has jurisdiction over the East China Sea, said it conducted a practical exercise near Taiwan on the 7th as well, focusing on testing land-based attacks and long-range aerial strike capabilities. I posted a video of the plane flying.

Regarding this exercise, Meng Xiangqing, a professor at the National Defense University under the direct control of the military, appeared on state-run China Central Television. It is said that it has confirmed the ability to prevent the intervention of containment external forces.

After that, he said, ``We created the conditions for early unification of Taiwan and formed a strategic situation favorable to China,'' suggesting that he had examined how to move if he decided to unify by force.

Through this exercise, the Chinese military has indicated that there is no "median line" in the Taiwan Strait, and has indicated that it will continue to exercise across the "median line", and it is expected that it will continue to increase pressure on Taiwan.

A total of 12 aircraft crossed the "median line" and approached Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense

According to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense, a total of 66 aircraft and 14 ships of the Chinese military conducted exercises in the Taiwan Strait by 6:00 p.m. Japan time on the 7th.

Of the aircraft, eight Sukhoi-30 fighters and four J-11 fighters crossed the "median line" of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's airspace.

On the other hand, the exercise area set by the Chinese military includes some waters that Taiwan considers to be territorial waters, and Chinese media reported that Chinese military vessels approached only 12 kilometers from the coast of Hualien County in eastern Taiwan. However, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense strongly denied the allegations, stating, "During the exercises that began on the 4th, no Chinese military vessels entered Taiwan's territorial waters."
