Britain: 6 Russian army commanders dismissed due to poor performance in Ukraine

British intelligence has reported that at least six Russian military leaders are believed to have been fired since Russia's invasion of Ukraine began about six months ago.

The British Ministry of Defense, in its daily update on developments in Ukraine, stated that the poor performance of the armed forces during operations had implications for the military leadership and likely led to the dismissal of at least six commanders.

Among the dismissed commanders was General Alexander Dvornikov, after he was assigned the general command of the operation in Ukraine.

The British report added that at least ten Russian generals were killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

The report suggested that the changes contributed to the exacerbation of Russia's tactical and operational difficulties in Ukraine.
