A group of A-bomb survivors who were bombed in Hiroshima and moved to Brazil after the war put on a Portuguese-language play based on their own experiences on Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Day to spread awareness of the terror of the atomic bomb. .

Takashi Morita (98), Kunihiko Bonkohara (82), and Junko Watanabe (79), who were exposed to the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and immigrated to Brazil after the war, are presenting their experiences of the atomic bombing to the Brazilian people in a Portuguese-language play. I have been working on conveying this message for nearly 10 years.

On the 6th, the day of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, a performance was held in Sao Paulo, the largest city, and about 200 people gathered at the venue from all over Brazil.

The role of Mr. Morita, the eldest who was absent due to poor health, was played by a Japanese-American actor. I acted like a wandering state.

According to the group, the hibakusha who moved to Brazil are aging, but we will continue to convey the experiences of the war and the atomic bomb, mainly to the younger generation.

A 17-year-old high school girl who saw the play said, "Hatred only brings death.Through the play, I learned the importance of tolerance."
