Recently, the General Hospital of the Eastern Theater Command conducted an actual combat medical service exercise, using the EMU as a "sanitary train" for the first time to practice the treatment and evacuation of a large number of wounded.

The train is equipped with a reception and treatment room, an intensive care unit, an operating room, etc. The working areas such as the medical support group and the logistics support group are divided into compartments, which can accommodate more than 100 people including walking wounded, stretcher wounded, and severely wounded.
