In preparation for the G7 summit, which will be held in Hiroshima in May next year, which is the summit meeting of the seven major countries, the government has started recruiting logos to be used at venues and posters.

The G7 Summit = Summit of seven major countries will be held in Hiroshima City for three days from May 19th to 21st next year, and ministerial meetings will be held throughout the country in conjunction with the summit.



Prior to this, the government began recruiting logo marks to be displayed at venues such as summit meetings and ministerial meetings, and to be used on posters and business cards.

Applications will be accepted until the 13th of next month, and the works to be adopted by Prime Minister Kishida will be decided after screening by a selection committee that includes private sector experts.



At the time of the 2016 Ise-Shima Summit, logos were solicited, and out of more than 7,000 entries, works by high school students from Oita Prefecture were selected.
