US President Joe Biden tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday, the White House announced.

The septuagenarian leader remains in isolation pending a second negative test, said his doctor, Kevin O'Connor.

“The president continues to feel very well,” he said in a letter.

Tested positive for Covid-19 for the first time on July 21, Joe Biden had tested negative, then suffered a "rebound" of positivity on July 30.

Isolated in the White House for a week, the president should resume his travels soon.

According to his official agenda, he must go to the American state of Kentucky, victim of devastating floods.
