China News Service, August 6th (ABC) and The New York Post reported that White House doctor Kevin O'Connor said on the 5th local time that the results of US President Biden's new crown virus test are still positive.

Although Biden has tested positive for the new crown for a week, the White House announced that he and First Lady Jill will travel to eastern Kentucky on the 8th to visit flood victims.

According to reports, O'Connor wrote in an open letter that Biden's new crown virus test result is still positive and will continue to take "strict isolation measures."

O'Connor wrote that despite a rebound in Biden's Covid-19 condition, he "still feels fine" and that his cough is "almost completely better."

O'Connor also said, "Biden's temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain completely normal, as are his lungs."

Biden first tested positive for Covid-19 on July 21, and he ended his quarantine on July 27, but tested positive again on July 30.

After the test result "returned positive", Biden's new crown test result has been positive for a week in a row.

Following the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), after testing positive for the first time, positive patients need to isolate for at least 5 days and avoid travel for 10 days.

Although Biden's new crown test result continued to be positive, the White House announced that he and First Lady Jill would travel to eastern Kentucky on the 8th to visit flood victims.

At least 37 people have died in floods caused by torrential rains in eastern Kentucky in recent days.

Biden and Gill will join Kentucky Gov. Beshear and his wife to visit families affected by the flooding, the White House said.
