In April 2019, General Secretary Xi Jinping said in a reply letter to the masses of Dulongjiang Township, Gongshan County: "It is my long-standing wish and the goal of our common struggle to let people of all ethnic groups have a good life."

In April 2014, the Gaoligong Mountain Tunnel on the Dulongjiang Highway was completed, and Dulongjiang Township, the main settlement of the Dulong people in my country, bid farewell to the history of being isolated from the world for half a year every year.

Every family lives in an affordable housing, every household has a new industry, and 85% of the households in the township buy a car.

Yunnan is the province with the largest number of ethnic minorities in my country. There are 25 ethnic minorities living in the country. The population of ethnic minorities is 15.63 million, accounting for one third of the province.

The great change in Dulongjiang Township is a microcosm of the unity, progress and development of Yunnan's ethnic groups in the past 10 years.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Yunnan has implemented a precise strategy, concentrated its efforts to overcome difficulties, built a large-scale poverty alleviation pattern, and won the tough battle of poverty alleviation. All 9.33 million rural poor people were lifted out of poverty, all 8,502 poor villages were listed, and 88 All poverty-stricken counties have been removed, and 1.5 million people have been relocated, which has historically solved the problem of absolute poverty.

After completing the task of poverty alleviation, Yunnan has made great efforts to promote the effective connection between the consolidation and expansion of poverty alleviation achievements and rural revitalization.

The production and life of 11 ethnic groups and ethnic minorities with small populations have undergone tremendous changes, achieving "one step across the millennium".

Five ethnic minority autonomous prefectures have entered the era of high-speed rail, 100% of administrative villages in ethnic areas have hardened roads, and 4G network broadband is fully covered... Modern lifestyles have entered the majority of ethnic areas.

"We are a family of 25 people from 5 ethnic groups. Four generations of our relatives live in harmony and live happily," said He Wanchun, a 76-year-old Tibetan from Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. There are many families, and everyone has lived a good life that they could not have imagined in the past.”

The proportion of excellent water bodies in Yunnan Province has reached 89.6%, an increase of 34.5 percentage points in 10 years.

The water quality of the nine major plateau lakes has been stabilized and improved, and the water quality of the six major water systems at the outbound and outbound sections of the province is 100% up to standard.

  The ground is greener.

Yunnan has comprehensively strengthened the prevention and control of soil pollution sources. The safe utilization rate of contaminated farmland and key construction land in the province has reached 90% and 100% respectively, and the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has achieved negative growth for four consecutive years.

The province's forest area is 374 million mu, the forest coverage rate is 65.04%, and the forest volume is 2.067 billion cubic meters. All three indicators are in the forefront of the country.

In terms of biodiversity protection, 90% of Yunnan's important ecosystems and 80% of national key protected terrestrial wild animals and plants have been effectively protected...
