“As part of the work to timely identify, prevent and suppress possible sabotage actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian military personnel ... the work of the “sleeping cell” of the territorial defense stationed on the territory of Kherson was opened,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
It is specified that a total of 16 members of the group were identified, Kalashnikov assault rifles, grenades, rifles, bayonet-knives were confiscated from them.
In July, in the Kherson region, members of one of the largest sabotage groups, which is supervised by members of the Security Service of Ukraine from Odessa, were identified and detained.
Also, Russian units found in Kherson a cache with weapons of Ukrainian saboteurs and a firing point, from where they fired at humanitarian convoys.
