As an important participant, builder and contributor to the global governance system, China has always started from maintaining the international system with the United Nations at its core, the international order based on international law, and the basic norms of international relations based on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. Adhere to the global governance concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, oppose unilateralism, practice multilateralism, actively develop global partnerships, and jointly promote the building of a fair and just global governance system with practical actions.

As a promoter of upholding and practicing genuine multilateralism, China insists that all countries, big or small, are equal, and advocates that there is a need to discuss matters and properly resolve differences through consultation.
