Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, also awarded Olga Kachura the title of Hero of the DPR posthumously.

On August 3, the mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, announced the death of Olga Kachura, Colonel of the People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic, with the call sign Korsa.
