As reported in the Telegram channel of the ministry, over 250 military personnel of one of the mechanized brigades of the Western Operational Command of the Republic of Belarus will be involved in the exercises.
“Practical actions of the exercise will be held at 13 training grounds of the Eastern Military District from August 30 to September 5,” the report says.
Army General Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, has been appointed head of the exercise.
Earlier it was reported that the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) held on Thursday, August 4, live firing in the waters of the eastern part of the Taiwan Strait using long-range artillery.
