• Profession Ana Obregón returns to the cinema, in a film with Carmen Maura and for a good reason

  • Revelations Ana Obregón remembers when she was threatened by ETA and who saved her life: "Now I can tell about it"

Aless Lequio's legacy

is

and will be indelible.

With that premise, Ana Obregón threw herself into the void after the death of her son to shape something that is now a reality:

the Aless Lequio Foundation.

It was one of the few decisions she was able to make as an absolutely broken mother after losing

a son so young and in such a tragic way.

The objective could not be other than to

raise funds

to allocate them to

the fight against cancer,

the disease from which the businessman died.

And he has done it hand in hand with

two people

who have become two pillars during these two years without Aless.

One is Aless's father and Ana's ex-partner,

Alessandro Lequio.

The Italian mourned the death of her son, but from the beginning he knew how to draw strength from weakness

to be with her,

until he ended up becoming a key player in the start-up of this foundation.

The other asset has been

Nacho Ansorena.

He was the partner with whom Aless set up the Polar Marketing company, as well as

one of his best friends

and the one who continued the dream that they both set in motion.

It has been Ana Obregón herself who has communicated this

happy news on her social networks

, where she could not hide her exultant state of mind:

"I am very excited

because after 2 years of fighting, sometimes without strength, to be able to create the foundation of my son,

paperwork, lawyers, notaries... FINALLY

! We started our activity: cancer research contributing

our grain of sand

to save lives", he began by saying.

The actress did not miss the opportunity to thank Alessandro Lequio for the support:

"Thanks to @alessandrolequiosr for your unconditional support to achieve it.

I hope our son is as proud of us as we are of him."

In addition, Ana Obregón has advanced for whom the initial funding will be allocated: "Our first FINANCIAL AID is for

@proyectoimperas,

which is doing a magnificent job in diagnosing Sarcoma,

that rare cancer that mainly affects children

and young people. , and that few hospitals in Spain can diagnose due to lack of funding (from the different governments that we have had in Spain) for the necessary techniques", he explains.

In this way, Ana Obregón fulfills the dream she was pursuing to help people who, like her son, have to face cancer.

She is clear:

"A good diagnosis saves lives.

Hopefully we will ensure that no mother or father has to go through what we are experiencing."
