On the night of the 3rd, Prime Minister Kishida met with former Prime Minister Mori and former Chief Cabinet Secretary Aoki, and exchanged opinions on the future management of the government and the situation within the party.

The meeting lasted for about two hours while having dinner at a hotel in Tokyo, and was also attended by Mr. Endo, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's election campaign committee, and Mr. Obuchi, head of the Organizational Campaign Headquarters, who are close to Mr. Mori and Mr. Aoki.

Mr. Mori has influence over the Abe faction, the largest faction within the party, which he once served as chairman of, and Mr. Aoki is known for his close ties with the House of Councilors side of the Motegi faction.

Based on this, it is said that at the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the future management of the government and the situation within the party.

After the meeting, Endo told reporters, "We talked a little bit about the Abe faction, but what left an impression on me was that Mr. Mori and Mr. Aoki told Prime Minister Kishida, 'Don't panic, take your time.'" said.
