The Russian military destroyed a base in the Lviv region, where weapons were stored, transferred to the Ukrainian side by Poland, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“High-precision long-range air-launched missiles in the area of the settlement of Radekhiv, Lviv region, destroyed a storage base with foreign-made weapons and ammunition received by the Kyiv regime from Poland,” Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said during a briefing on August 3.
As a result of another strike by Russian troops, more than 50 nationalists were killed in the village of Nikolaevka in the DPR.
“As a result of a high-precision strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces on the point of temporary deployment of a unit of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Nikolaevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, more than 50 nationalists and six vehicles were destroyed,” Konashenkov said during a briefing.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the command of a number of Ukrainian military units refuses to follow orders from Kyiv and leaves their positions.
“In the area of the settlement of Nortsovka, Kharkiv region, due to high losses from artillery fire, the commanders of the units of the 132nd reconnaissance battalion refused to obey the orders of the command, crossed the Seversky Donets River with personnel and departed for a temporary deployment point,” said Konashenkov.

Aviation, rocket troops and artillery continue to strike at the military infrastructure of Ukraine.
During the day, three command posts were hit, including battalions of the 72nd and 65th mechanized brigades, as well as manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 133 districts.
In particular, four warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition were destroyed on the territory of the DPR, as well as a fuel storage facility for military equipment in the Mykolaiv region.
During the counter-battery fight, two platoons of Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), three artillery platoons of Msta-B guns, three platoons of Gvozdika guns and two platoons of D-30 howitzers at firing positions on the territory of the DPR were suppressed.
Air defense forces shot down five Ukrainian drones in the DPR and Kharkiv region in a day, and also intercepted two Tochka-U ballistic missiles in the Kherson region.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, 261 aircraft, 145 helicopters, 1,669 drones, 361 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,231 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 782 MLRS combat vehicles, 3,242 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 4,676 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
Destruction of saboteurs in the LPR
The special forces of the Russian Guard destroyed an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic, the press service of the department said.

After the artillery strike, the special forces of the Russian Guard inspected the area and found the bodies of six servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A portable anti-aircraft missile system, an RPG-7 grenade launcher and a foreign-made grenade launcher, more than 2 kg of TNT, PG-7 rounds, about 400 grenades, cartridges and fuses, foreign-made radio stations, Kalashnikov assault rifles, ammunition and equipment were also found.

Specialists of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the RF Armed Forces will assess the environmental situation at the enterprises of Donbass, the press service of the government of the Luhansk People's Republic reported.
“At the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Ministry of Defense from August 1 to August 31 inspect six especially dangerous objects on the territory of the Donbass republics to assess their environmental condition,” TASS reports.
It is clarified that the checks will be held at the sites of the Lisichansky Orgsintez, Zarya, Azot plants, industrial waste disposal sites in Volcheyarovka and the Gorlovsky chemical plant, as well as on the territory of the sludge collector of the Azovstal metallurgical plant.
