China News Service, August 3. The opening ceremony of the ninth phase of the 2022 Online Chinese Culture Paradise-European Garden was recently held at Wenzhou University.

  During the 10-day event, 532 Chinese teenagers from more than 10 countries and regions including Germany, Italy, Vietnam, and Indonesia will learn about traditional Chinese culture through online classes, learn the essence of the Chinese nation, and experience the elegance of the hometown of overseas Chinese in Wenzhou.

  The activity has a total of 74 hours of courses, involving Chinese ethnic dance, Chinese etiquette, Chinese martial arts (Nanquan), Chinese paper-cutting, Chinese painting, appreciation of ancient poetry and other traditional Chinese culture appreciation and learning, as well as interesting Chinese characters, Chinese language education series such as the lecture hall and other courses. Themed educational links such as Ou Opera Quest and Travel to Zhejiang.

  Cai Shuguang, vice president of Wenzhou University, said in his online speech that Wenzhou University has a profound accumulation of overseas Chinese education, strong overseas Chinese research strength, and a strong atmosphere of overseas Chinese culture.

This activity fully mobilized Wenzhou University's rich teacher education resources, and tailored "educational and entertaining" courses for overseas Chinese teenagers to help Chinese teenagers understand the breadth and depth of Chinese culture intuitively and three-dimensionally, and feel the charm of Chinese culture.
