Head for the Center Val de Loire for the International Garden Festival of Chaumont sur Loire.

Chaumont is on the banks of the Loire a few kilometers from Blois and Amboise, and only 2 hours by car from Paris.

It is an extraordinary place, steeped in history, which had as owners Catherine de Medici, Diane de Poitiers and much later the Princess de Broglie, who made Chaumont an epicenter of the Belle Époque: a place of fantasy with parties, hunts, queens, kings... 

And the music, the theater were very present, which means that there has always been a very particular cultural life which has influenced what happens today artistically in the parks of Chaumont sur Loire

30 years that gave birth to 30 new gardens.

Gardens resulting from an International Garden Competition on the theme of the ideal garden, those of landscapers who come from all over the world, the English who are still very strong in this field, the Americans, even the Chinese, which makes for the richness and eclecticism of the event.

In the domain of Chaumont sur Loire himself: a new hotel, a hotel of arts and nature, opened its doors before the summer: Le Bois des chambres.

The originality is that everything goes through the garden.

From the reception to the restaurant, from the restaurant to the rooms and even sometimes from the room to the bed.
