Prime Minister Kishida, who was visiting the United States to attend the review conference of the NPT = Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, returned to Japan on the night of the 2nd after completing a series of schedules.

Prime Minister Kishida visited New York in the United States for three days starting on the 31st, and in the early hours of the 2nd (Japan time), he attended the NPT Review Conference at the United Nations Headquarters as the first Japanese Prime Minister and delivered a speech.



Among these are the urging of the nuclear-weapon states to make their nuclear forces transparent, and the holding of an "International Eminent Persons Conference" on November 23, inviting world leaders to Hiroshima to discuss nuclear disarmament. Japan's action plan for the abolition of Hiroshima was announced as the "Hiroshima Action Plan."



He called on all countries to respond constructively to maintain and strengthen the NPT regime.



Prime Minister Kishida also held talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and agreed to work closely together to achieve meaningful results at the NPT Review Conference.



Prime Minister Kishida, who finished a series of schedules, arrived at Haneda Airport on a government plane shortly after 7:00 pm on the 2nd.
