For the occasion, the Beauval zoo plans to offer them a "big birthday cake made from water, bamboo and syrup".

In their enclosure specially fitted out with plants from China, the two little balls of fur are about to blow out their first candle under the tender gaze of Rodolphe Delord, the director of the Beauval zoo.

"A year ago they weighed 142 grams. Today they weigh 24 and 29 kilos. They are absolutely adorable. We see them playing all day with each other, playing with their mother or sleeping. And this morning, they are going to enjoy a big birthday cake made from water, bamboo and syrup", he explains at the microphone of Europe 1.

A show that the 15,000 visitors expected for this anniversary day will be able to attend.
