The Auvergnat of 27 indeed used his beard trimmer then put the device on his bed without unplugging it.

Parents absent since morning
The flames ravaged an entire floor of the house where the young man was.
He was alone on the spot when the fire started.
His parents, living in the same house, had left to go to their vacation spot that same morning.
The fire therefore did not cause any casualties and only material damage was to be deplored.
