The National Center of Meteorology had stated that as a result of the oscillatory movement of the tropical convergence line "ITCZ", which moves towards the north of the Arabian Peninsula and then retreats to the south, this leads to the advancement of surface and upper depressions from the south towards the north, and the flow of moist air masses from the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman towards the region and the state.
He added that with rising temperatures during the day, convective clouds of rain form over different regions of the country, especially in the east and south, and also extend over the Al Dhafra region, accompanied by lightning and thunder sometimes.
Then the depressions retreat to the south again, which leads to the weakening of the weather and its retreat from the region and the country.
For its part, the Ministry of Interior, through its official account on the social networking site “Twitter”, called for caution and adherence to safety and prevention instructions issued by the competent authorities, with the expectation that some areas of the air will witness a state of atmospheric instability, rain and winds of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder and lightning sometimes, especially in the eastern regions. and western countries.
