North Korea: No new infections with the Corona virus for the third day

North Korea announced today, Monday, that it has not recorded any new infections with the Corona virus (Covid-19), for the third consecutive day.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency, citing the Emergency Epidemic Prevention Headquarters, said that no new cases of fever had been recorded.

The headquarters for the prevention of epidemics in emergencies did not provide any information on the registration of any additional deaths.

The total number of fever cases recorded since late April stood at 4.77 million as of Saturday.

144 people are receiving treatment in hospitals.

The number of daily fever cases in the country has become on a downward trend, after it peaked at more than 392,920 infections on May 15.
