As Milonov said, in many cases visiting polyclinics, hospitals or other health care institutions is associated with difficulties.

“For example, according to requests addressed to me, if a healthcare facility is located in an area where paid parking is organized, then attending an ordinary procedure or a doctor’s examination can indirectly cost a citizen a serious amount,” the deputy added.

He emphasized that for pensioners or disabled people who visit polyclinics more often than young people, regular parking fees can be a significant expense.

At the same time, as the interlocutor of RT explained, the use of a personal car (or the car of their relatives) for such categories of citizens is a necessity if the patient of the polyclinic is low-mobile or there is no comfortable alternative in the form of public transport.

“In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the idea of expanding free parking spaces near polyclinics, hospitals, hospitals, feldsher points and other medical infrastructure facilities for people who are patients or visitors to such institutions.

The free parking time could be two to three hours, with the expectation that during this period the patient could have time to complete the necessary procedures and calmly leave the parking lot without loss to his budget, ”the text of the appeal says.

Milonov stressed that he was ready, for his part, to develop and prepare for amendments to the legislation.

Earlier in Russia, it was proposed to establish a public or private-public service (agency) to provide services to the population in the field of international tourism.
