The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is on vacation at Fort Brégançon for a "study break" of around three weeks.

On the program: preparation for the start of the school year with the energy sobriety plan, ecological planning or the establishment of the National Council for Refoundation.

The holidays have begun for Emmanuel Macron, who has arrived at Fort Brégançon.

But, hot issues are never far away.

And as proof, Emmanuel Macron is talking at this very moment with Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president.

The Head of State has all the necessary equipment to work in Brégançon.

The fort is also very regularly used as a diplomatic tool.

A busy program

Several heads of state were received by Emmanuel Macron during the previous five-year term: Theresa May in 2018, Vladimir Poutine in 2019 or Angela Merkel two years ago.

At this stage, no information has been released on a possible invitation from a foreign counterpart.

Emmanuel Macron is mainly dedicated to preparing for the start of the school year, which should be, like the month of July, particularly intense.

On the program: the energy sobriety plan, ecological planning or the establishment of the National Council for Refoundation.

And Emmanuel Macron should stay there for three weeks.

He will attend on August 17, as tradition dictates, the commemoration of the Allied landing at Bormes-les-Mimosas.

And then, like every year, the president could, why not, come and greet locals and holidaymakers and treat himself to one or two walkabouts before returning, at the end of the month, to the bustle of the Élysée Palace .
