“Over the past day, 55 forest fires on an area of 7,717 hectares have been extinguished in Russia,” RIA Novosti reports.
It is specified that there are 126 forest fires on the territory of the country on an area of 87,364 hectares.
Earlier, the head of the Meteo prognostic center, Alexander Shuvalov, in an interview with NSN, commented on the abnormal heat in European countries.
