The chief Iranian negotiator, Ali Bagheri, revealed that Tehran is coordinating with the partners in the nuclear agreement to give Washington an opportunity to prove its goodwill, amid news that the administration of US President Joe Biden has suspended the enforcement of extensive sanctions on Iran in an effort to revive the agreement.

Bagheri said that Iran is ready to take the final steps for negotiations in a short time if the opposite party is ready for such.

The chief Iranian negotiator added that Tehran had presented proposals and ideas to facilitate a conclusion in the Vienna talks on the nuclear deal, noting that the proposals were aimed at correcting the complicated situation caused by Washington's withdrawal from the agreement.

For its part, The Wall Street Journal quoted a US official as saying that the administration of President Joe Biden had suspended the enforcement of broad sanctions on Iran in an effort to revive the nuclear agreement.

A US official expected, in a statement to the newspaper, that Washington would continue to regularly impose sanctions as long as Iran rejects the offer on the table.

The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources and documents it has seen, indicated that Iranian oil is being sold as Iraqi oil, to avoid Western sanctions.

She revealed that Washington is considering imposing sanctions on a businessman residing in the UAE and companies suspected of facilitating the export of Iranian oil.

In the same context, a member of the administrative body of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament said that a new round of nuclear negotiations may be held soon in Vienna.

Yaqoub Rezazadeh said, in a statement to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), that the committee members had held meetings during the past few days with Ali Bagheri, head of the nuclear negotiating team.

"Given the efforts of the European parties to bring the nuclear negotiations to fruition, we may witness in the coming days a new round of negotiations," he said.
