Biden, 79, was diagnosed with the new crown on the morning of the 21st, and then the White House confirmed that he was infected with the new subtype BA.5 of the new coronavirus Omicron strain.
Since the evening of the 26th, Biden has tested negative for the new crown for four consecutive days.
Biden had previously completed a five-day course of the new coronavirus antiviral drug Paxlovid.
O'Connor said that patients taking Paxlovid have a small chance of returning to positive.
Biden is currently asymptomatic and feeling well.
In view of this, corresponding treatment measures will not be taken for the time being.
Biden then posted a 12-second video via social media.
"I tested positive this morning," said Biden, standing on the balcony of the White House without a tie. "I feel fine and will be working in isolation for the next few days."
Biden announced on the 27th to lift the isolation and resume official activities.
According to the schedule, he had planned to return to his home in Delaware for a mid-weekend on July 31 and travel to Michigan on August 2.
