  Tang Zhongdong emphasized that the current public security situation in South Africa has not fundamentally improved, and the majority of overseas Chinese must maintain a high degree of vigilance and precaution, and effectively maintain their own safety.

When the overseas Chinese encounter difficulties, they must unite to do a good job in the rescue and assistance of the trapped compatriots. At the same time, they can continue to take advantage of the overseas Chinese community's extensive network and familiarity in South African society, establish a joint prevention and protection mechanism, and actively assist in dealing with China.   Tang Dongdong also issued letters of appointment to volunteers in the consular area, and the consulate general issued a "tool kit" for each volunteer to facilitate their work.
