Grenade was found in villa garden - bomb disposal was called

It was during excavation work that the then unknown object, which was suspected to have the effect of ammunition, was discovered.

The police were called just after 5pm and in turn contacted the national bomb squad who responded.

- It was a sharp object, which was neutralized, says Evelina Molander, on-duty commander of the Bergslagen police region.

The bomb shelter was in place shortly after midnight, on the night of Saturday.
