“The White House denies a recession in the United States.
They stubbornly stand their ground, argue with their own journalists, shake their heads, get angry, refuse to answer clarifying questions about what then is a recession, ”she wrote in her Telegram channel.
According to her, the United States did the same in the past with “economic depressions” - they simply stopped using this expression, as well as the word “panic” in matters related to the economic crisis.
“The same, apparently, was decided this time: they took and canceled the word “recession,” Zakharova added.
Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lost her temper during an argument with a journalist about the US recession.
