In the last election, approximately 92,000 Swedes from abroad voted.

About half of them were postal votes, according to Anna Nyqvist, head of office at the Swedish Electoral Authority.

As of July 28, you can send in your postal vote from abroad.

This year, the Electoral Authority has sent out approximately 160,000 voting cards to Swedes living abroad.

But everyone who is abroad can vote by mail.

- We send out postal voting kits to everyone who is entitled to vote and lives abroad.

It is also possible to order if you are on holiday, for example, says Anna Nyqvist in Morgonstudion.

Early voting is also possible from embassies and consulates in over 260 locations around the world.

Early voting begins August 18.
