The Democratic National Convention's preliminaries, in which 8 candidates for the party representative and 17 candidates for the top committee, challenged.

Two members of the 97th group, including Park Yong-jin and Kang Hoon-sik, were selected as the party's representative candidates for the finals, along with Lee Jae-myung, who was expected to advance smoothly.

70% of the Central Committee electoral vote and 30% of the general public opinion polls are combined.

Candidates who have crossed the cut-off threshold will enter the national primaries to determine the final winner on the 28th of next month.

While Rep. Jae-myung Lee is showing strength in various opinion polls, the unification of the candidates from the 97 groups is expected to emerge as the biggest variable in the final.

Rep. Park Yong-jin, who has been standing up for Lee right now, has ignited the unification, and Rep. Kang Hoon-sik also responded positively.

[Park Yong-jin/Democratic Party Member: We will form a big scrum together with Rep. Kang Hoon-sik and make it a venue for a great upheaval at the National Convention.]

[Kang Hoon-sik/Democratic Party Member: In principle, we said that we should discuss (unify) after the cut-off, so I should have that discussion too. I think.]

Rep. Jae-myung Lee emphasized the 'winning Democratic Party' as if he did not care.

[Lee Jae-myung / Democratic Party Rep.: To win the next general election and win the next general election (we will do our

best)] Among the candidates who will form the leadership together with the party leader, Jang Gyeong-tae, Park Chan-dae, Ko Young-in, Seo Young-gyo, Eight people including Ko Min-jung, Jeong Cheong-rae, Song Gap-seok, and Yoon Young-chan made it to the finals.

The movement of solidarity with the party's representative candidate is also noteworthy as four people are classified as pro-Lee Jae-myung, and four are classified as non-criminal.
