Gnosjö municipality is now appealing for tips from its residents about who or who it is that knocks over flower pots at night, scribbles on shop fronts and sets fire to recycling containers.
The municipality hopes that the measure can be reported to the police.
The problem has been going on for a couple, three weeks.
- Every morning we come to destruction, it's terribly sad, says Helena Aspenström, who has worked as a park worker in Gnosjö for 20 years.
I cannot understand why anyone would want to destroy our nice flowers.
- In all my years it has obviously happened that there was some damage, but this year it is extreme.
Who do you think is behind it?
- No idea and the strange thing is that nobody seems to have seen anything.
Aspenström says that they have now picked up the pots they planted the summer flowers in, they are not planning any new ones.
- No, it's not possible to plant new ones if someone just walks around and destroys, it's pointless.
