Agents of the

National Police

have arrested

five young people

accused of sexually assaulting three girls in a pack on a street in Valencia, as confirmed by sources from the Headquarters.

The event, announced by 'Las Provincias', took place last Saturday, around 5 am, in Valencia.

The Police was commissioned by 091 to go to a street where a robbery was being committed.

Once there, the agents observed five young men who were surrounding three girls and a younger boy against the wall with an intimidating mood.

The minors were asking for help.

The agents separated the suspects from the minors and found out that they had followed the victims asking for money and that at one point they surrounded them and touched the girls in their private parts.

In addition,

one of the young men placed a nail clipper on the neck of the minor boy

while he asked for money and the rest of those arrested searched the bags of the minors.

Likewise, during the police action, a man appeared at the scene who told the agents that his keys, money and two mobile phones had been stolen and that one of the phones was geolocated at that point.

Finally, the police located the stolen phones in a container near the suspects and returned them to their owner.

The agents arrested the five young people as

alleged perpetrators of a robbery with violence, sexual assault and theft

.

The detainees are between 22 and 28 years old and are of Moroccan and Algerian origin.

Four of the young people have police records and all of them were in an irregular situation in Spain.

They went to court while the minor victims were handed over to their legal guardians.

The agents intervened the nail clippers, a backpack whose description coincided with one on which its theft had been reported and 200 euros in cash.
