A body was turned over at a funeral home in the United States.

The bereaved family filed a huge lawsuit against the funeral home.

According to foreign media such as NBC on the 27th (local time), a Korean family living in New Jersey, USA, learned that the body of the late Kim Gyeong-ja (93) had been reversed, and paid 50 million dollars to a funeral home in Litchfield and funeral directors. (About 66 billion won)

After the Korean-style Samil Market, the bereaved family moved the coffin to a funeral service at a church in New Jersey.

However, the bereaved family who opened the coffin said they thought something was wrong.

"The coffin was opened and the body of a woman who looked much younger than her mother was found," the deceased's daughter said.

However, the funeral home staff reassured the family, saying, "Mr. Kim is right," and carried out the funeral service.

Kim's coffin was then moved to the cemetery in Valhalla, New York.

But as the coffin went into the ground, suddenly the funeral home staff showed a picture to the bereaved.

The employee asked, "Is this person in the picture really the mother?" The bereaved family was surprised and answered "No".

The staff then took the coffin out of the ground and fled the cemetery without any explanation.

It is known that the daughter of the deceased lost consciousness and collapsed from a great shock.

The bereaved family could only retrieve the body of the deceased the next day and bury it in the cemetery.

It is known that the funeral home put Kim's clothes on another deceased woman with the same last name as Kim, and then put the woman in Kim's coffin.

The funeral home apologized to the bereaved family and offered a refund of 9,000 dollars (about 12 million won) of the funeral expenses, but the bereaved family refused and filed a lawsuit against the company for 50 million dollars (about 66 billion won) .

The bereaved family insisted that the funeral home should have prevented such an accident, saying there was no procedure to identify the body at the time.

The deceased's daughter said, "The body was already so decomposed that it was impossible to even open the coffin to the family."

Meanwhile, the family of the Kim family said that if they win the lawsuit, they will donate the entire amount of the winnings to the church where the deceased attended.
