Arrested on Monday in Béziers (Hérault), a 22-year-old man is suspected of having stabbed another young man of 20 during a fight which degenerated in front of the Bora nightclub, in Agde this Sunday morning, reports France Bleu Hérault .
The victim had his lung and liver perforated by the three stab wounds received.
His condition remains critical despite multiple operations received since Sunday.
The surveillance video and the hearing of several witnesses made it possible to identify the suspect who had fled.
He was identified at his parents' home in Béziers, some information suggested that he could be armed, so it was the Raid which intervened, specifies the radio station.
Taken calmly, the arrest showed that no weapon was present at the home.
Placed in police custody, the suspect ended up acknowledging the facts, explaining that he had few memories and had above all sought to defend himself.
The young man was already known to justice, in particular for drug trafficking.
An investigation for attempted murder has been opened.
