Sharjah Reformatory: Annual campaign for dental treatment and implants for inmates

The Punitive and Correctional Institution of Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the Sharjah Charity Society and the Dental Implant Research Center in Dubai, continued its annual medical campaign for the specialized care project for dental treatment and implants for the institution’s inmates, with the participation of a group of senior consultants, doctors and nurses of highly qualified and distinguished people within the country, in the presence of the Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution In Sharjah, Brigadier General Ahmed Abdel Aziz Shuhail, and a number of non-commissioned officers in the institution.

The initiative, which lasted for 9 continuous hours, was attended by 25 volunteer senior doctors headed by the head of the Dental Implant Research Center in Dubai, Dr. Suhail Hosseini, which benefited more than 11 inmates of the institution.

Brigadier Ahmed Shehail stressed the keenness of the Sharjah Police General Command to continue organizing various initiatives for the inmates of the penal and correctional institution with its various strategic partners. and ensuring that they obtain their rights that are consistent with international laws, norms and charters related to human rights.

Shuhail pointed to the important role played by strategic partners in supporting the medical campaign, which is positively reflected in its success, praising the medical team of the participating volunteers, for their efforts and sincerity in presenting their work, and harnessing their expertise in the humanitarian aspects to relieve inmates' pain, and draw a smile. on their faces for nothing
