Kadyrov announced that he was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky by presidential decree

“On the proposal of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, I was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky for my great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic and the effective solution of tasks of great national importance,” he wrote in Telegram.

In September 2021, it was reported that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree.
