Former port master Stig Edvinsson wanted a solution to the problem with the geese and the excrement.
A tip from Canada was the solution.
He bought a stuffed fox from Järvsö that sits on a stick and put it in the harbor.
As long as you make sure to move it from time to time, the geese actually stay away from land.
The fox is called Skrikviksräven and comes from the town of Skrikvik, where he was shot and stuffed 20 years ago.
Now he stands in Norrsundet watching over the boat club.
- It's a humane way to get rid of the birds, says Stig Edvinsson, who is happy to share the tip with others who have goose problems.
