For Tuesday, Météo-France has placed 13 departments in the south-east of France on heatwave orange vigilance, from Hérault to Haute-Savoie via Bouches-du-Rhône, Var and the Alpes Maritimes .

Several of them are also on yellow alert for risk of thunderstorms.

The heat continues to hit the southeast of the country.

During its daily update on Monday, Météo France again placed 13 departments on heat wave orange alert, near the Mediterranean rim as far as Savoie.

Hérault, Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes de Haute-Provence, Alps Maritimes and the Gard are concerned.

Among them, several are also the subject of a slight vigilance because of the risk of storms.
