Will France hire the promised 20,000 agents?

The second major subject is private security.

When submitting its application, France made a commitment to the International Olympic Committee to hire 20,000 private security agents.

Several players in the sector believe that this figure is unattainable under current conditions: lack of attractiveness, training and issuance of professional cards.

If these 20,000 private agents are not recruited, the State has made a commitment to the IOC to make military personnel available.

But before coming to that, the government's objective is for the private security sector to play a greater role in the organization of the Olympic Games.
