The Russian Presidential Administration has revealed that Putin has no plans to attend the "state funeral" of former Prime Minister Abe.

The "state funeral" of former Prime Minister Abe, who died after being shot by a gun during a support speech for the Upper House election, will be held at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on September 27th.



Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Isozaki explained at a press conference on the afternoon of the 25th that he had informed all countries that have diplomatic relations with Japan, including Russia.



In connection with this, Russian Presidential Administration spokesman Peskov told Russian reporters on the 25th that "President Putin has no plans to visit Japan and attend a funeral," Putin said to former Prime Minister Abe. He revealed that he has no plans to attend the "national funeral".



He said, "The level will be decided later," and said that Russia would adjust the attendees in the future.
