Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issued an Emiri order on Sunday evening appointing Interior Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister and assigning him to form the new government.

The new prime minister will take the constitutional oath on Monday morning before he begins deliberations to select members of his government, whose tasks will be to submit a letter of non-cooperation with Parliament to the Emir of the country, in order to issue an Emiri decree to dissolve him and call for new parliamentary elections.

The Kuwaiti government, headed by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, submitted its resignation on the fifth of last April, against the background of an interrogation submitted to Al-Khaled, and he received parliamentary support for not cooperating with his government.

The Kuwaiti Crown Prince issued a decision accepting the fourth resignation of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah on the tenth of last May.
