“The decision to impose an embargo on Russian coal was taken almost overnight, recklessly and ill-considered,” he said in an interview with Wirtualna Polska.

According to Steinhoff, such a decision by the Polish authorities would make sense if it were taken jointly by all member countries of the European Union, which are introducing a ban on the supply of Russian coal from August 15.

“We are overnight, exposing our entrepreneurs involved in coal imports to big losses.

Morawiecki convened a meeting on the issue of coal shortages.

Leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov, in an interview with PolitExpert, commented on the situation in the EU energy industry.
